Baking and Pastry Arts OAC Committee

The Occupational Advisory Committee (OAC) is a vital link between the career and technical education program and business and industry.  It is intended to help steer the direction of the program and keeps the programs current with industry trends.  The members of the OAC committee will help determine the current needs of the industry and training gaps in the program.

The committee meets twice a year for a dinner meeting and will review the program for equipment needs, updates and job/ intern placements.  Many of the OAC member will also help judge competitions and proctor the NOCTI competency test for seniors.  If you are currently in the baking/ pastry field and are interested in becoming a member, contact Mr. Troy Madden at 610-277-2301 ext 328.  The meetings are typically held in October and either March or April.
