Think of your business plan as a blueprint. Before you undertake any buiilding project, you will always follow some form of plan. The same holds true for creating a business. This will provide the groundwork for the overall plans for your business. If you plan to approach a bank for a loan to start your business, they will want to see how you plan on developing your business. The business plan will include how you plan to market you establishment, what the overall structure will be and many other details that will help you formulate a plan to start a business from the ground up.
You have already developed a menu for your bakery, created your ideal floorplan, and developed the initial details. The next step is creating a business plan. The business plan may change or be further developed over time before you open your bakery. This project will help guide you through the rest of the projects for the remainder of the third year. The resources listed below will help you write your business plan and also provides a website for opening a business in Pennsylvania specifically. This will be another two week project and will be a 50 point assignment. Since this is a living or working document, you may not have some information under each heading at this time.
